Ellis Eli Alford, Sr. 90, of West Monroe, LA formerly of Memphis, TN was born on September 7, 1927 in Houston, MS to Harvey and Jewell Alford and passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Alford was a member of the Longstreet United Methodist Church and is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Alford; parents, and one sister.

Eli leaves his two sons, Ellis E. Alford, Jr. (Linda) and Randall B. Alford (Kay); eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 26 at Forest Hill Funeral Home South in Memphis with visitation from 12:30-2:00 P.M. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill South Cemetery.
