Elmer L. Holden, 90, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on May 22, 2012. He retired after 41 years from Napa, was an Army veteran and member and treasurer of Hunters Run Church of Christ. Mr. Holden is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Virginia; two daughters, Elaine Holden Davis, Gina Holden Mize; two brothers, Howard Holden, James L. Holden; four sisters, Mary Dinges, Sue Brown, Martha Embrey, June (Don) Whitham; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Holden (Wallace) Price, Joan Holden Boyle; three brothers, Henry M. Holden, Durward B. Holden, Joseph C. Holden; and sons in-law Utley Davis and Wallace Price. Visitation will be at 12 p.m. Friday, May 25 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family request any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital or to charity of the donor''s choice.
