Elna Merle Thompson, 93, of Eupora, MS went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Merle was preceded in death by her husband, Oggie Thompson. She is survived by her sister, Sue Hartley of Eupora, MS; and her many loving nieces and nephews. She was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. She was an avid basketball fan and loved her Memphis Tigers. The family will hold a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ridgeway Baptist Church (2500 Ridgeway Rd., Memphis, TN 38119) or Plough Towers (6580 Poplar Ave., Germantown, TN 38138).
