Mary Eloise Thompson, 88, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2023. Mrs. Thompson was born in Bruce, MS. She worked as a Music Teacher for Marie's Kindergarten and served many years as the Church Secretary for Southland Baptist Church.  She was such a joyful lady and loved serving others.

Eloise was preceded in death by Billy Thompson, her husband of 62 years. Eloise leaves her daughters, Lisa (Steve) Sloas and Teresa (Joe) Sorah; five grandchildren; Lindsay (Caleb) Toole, Whitney (Gavan) Young, Stephen (Kelsey) Sloas, Josh (Lauren) Sorah, and Natalie (Dustin) Vaughn; and 9 great-grandchildren:  Clark, Lorelai, Everly, Finnegan, Jacob, Neyland, Elleanor, Tristan and Gianna.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Golden Offering for Tennessee Baptist Missions or International Mission Board.
