Elsie Louise Berryman, 99, of Byhalia, MS passed away on July 28, 2022 at Christopher's Personal Care in Holly Springs.

Ms. Berryman was a very special person. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and also to all who knew her. She loved her family, her church, First Baptist Church in Byhalia as well as cooking, canning and gardening.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Horace D. Berryman, Sr.; her daughter, Sara L. Traylor; her son, Larry S. Berryman and grandson, Malcolm E. Traylor; also her parents, Edgar Simon, and Maude Ella Kiser Vess.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Horace D. Berryman, Jr. (Dora) and Perry L. Berryman (Connie); two brothers, Harold Vess and Charles Vess both of Muscle Shoals, AL; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.

The family requests that any memorials are sent to: First Baptist Church, Byhalia MS or Gideon's International.
