Elza Pierce Sumrall, 96, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at DeSoto Healthcare. Mrs. Sumrall was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church of Southaven. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33years, Prentis Sumrall; her parents, Henry and Lillie Pierce and eight siblings. Elza leaves four children: David Sumrall (Maren) of Seattle Washington, Lillie Montedonico (Ed) of Memphis, Nanette Peacock (William) of Madison, MS and Anita DeVall (Ray) of Olive Branch; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 8:30 to10 a.m. Saturday, September 10 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
