Emily Mitchell Bacigalupo went to be with her Savior February 2, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Pierce Mitchell and Jennie McCoy Mitchell. two brothers, John Edward Mitchell and Robert Pierce Mitchell; a sister Joyce Mitchell Simmons and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth (Bettye) Fox Bacigalupo and a son Charles Bacigalupo, III.

Emily was born January 13, 1928 in Memphis, Tennessee.  The family moved to Nesbit, Mississippi in 1939 and Emily graduated from Hernando High School in 1945.  Returning to Memphis, she worked at International Harvester Company where she met her husband to be, Charlie Ambrose Bacigalupo.  She retired in 1985 and enjoyed many years of crafts and bridge, being a full time homemeaker and taking part in church activities.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years; a son Vincent Bacigalupo and his wife Hilda Rosa Bacigalupo of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother Thomas Wayne Mitchell and his wife Betty Sigke Mitchell; two sisters, Patricia Mitchell Wright of Germantown, Tennessee and Carol Mitchell Davis of Truman, Arkansas and a sister-in-law Carol Ann White of Oakland.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett, Tennessee.

Visitation Services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at her church, Faith Baptist Church 3755 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, Tennessee with Funeral Services to follow at 12 Noon. Burial Services will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park 2440 Whitten Road.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Childrerns Department of the church or charity of the donors choice.
