Emily Ruth Day was born November 18th, 1945, to William E. Parker Sr. and Virginia E. Mills in Memphis, TN. She married William A. Day III January 24, 1987. She retired from Piggly Wiggly in October of 2012. Emily is survived by her brother William E. Parker Jr. (Glenda) of Olive Branch, Ms. Her 5 daughters, Laura, Angela, Barbara, Billie, and Joyce (James), 7 grandchildren: Anthony, Alisha, Tommy, Tiara, Priscilla, Brianna, and Christina, and 2 great-grandchildren Ariana and Tori, and an abundance of other friends and family. She was pre-deceased by her husband Bill and her parents.
