Emma L. Jenkins, 88, of Bartlett, TN, went to be with Lord on February 24, 2017. She was born on April 6, 1928 in Henderson, TN to the late Alvin Conn and Nannie Cherry Guinn. Mrs. Jenkins was retired from the City of Memphis and was a very active member of Rosemark Pentecostal Church, where she served her Lord. She was a preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Henry "Tommy" Jenkins; and five siblings, Opal McAdams, Hazel King, Cherry Guinn, Dale Guinn and Joe Guinn. Mrs. Jenkins was a great Christian woman and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed caring for her family. She is survived by her children, Jann Wood of Bartlett, Debby Allison of Southlake, TX, Susan Sorensen of Bartlett, Taffy Icaza of Arlington, Joanna Manley of Bartlett, Julie Riley of Bartlett; eight grandchildren, Mindi Harkness, Hunter Riley, Chance Allison, Raven Icaza, Madison McDorr, Trey Manley, Nicholas Icaza, Ridge Riley; and a great grandson, Cade Harkness. Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday, March 2 and service at 12 noon Friday, March 3, 2017 at Rosemark Penetcostal Church. Interment will follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
