Emma M. Owens, 88, widow of the late Holly L. Owens, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, January 25 at Forest Hill South with service to follow. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Starlotte Owens Smith (and her friend Mark Wolfe); two beautiful granddaughters, Kristen Smith: (her dear friend, Steve McKinney) and Kailyn Sedgwick; two brothers and one sister: Maurice Duncan, Danny Duncan, and Joan Duncan from Luverne, AL; also many nieces and nephews including: Glenda Holmes of Memphis, Deanna Chism of Florida, Rose Marie of Florida, and Larry Duncan of Little Rock, AR.
