Marie Sharp, 72, of Burlison, TN passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at her home. She was a homemaker, member of Smyrna Baptist Church, loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mrs. Sharp is survived by her husband, John Sharp; children, Teresa George (David) of Marshall, TX, Anita Rogene Azotea of Phoenix, AZ, Randy Gilbreth (Julia) of Ripley, TN, John Randal Gilbreth (Joy) of Slayden, MS, and David Gilbreth of Burlison, TN; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Lois Browning of Atoka, TN, and brothers, Ralph Rorie of Ripley, TN, and Johnny Boy Rorie of Covington. Mrs. Sharp was preceded in death by her son, John Sharp, Jr. and her son-in-law Chris Azotea. Visitation will be 12-1 P.M., Saturday, August 25, 2012 with services to follow at 1 P.M. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Randolph Cemetery in Burlison, TN. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
