Ernest F. Cook, 87, of Collierville, TN, retired from Kimberly Clark Corp., went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 13, 2012. He served in the Army in the Korean War and in the Navy in WWII. He received the Purple Heart in the Korean War. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie F. Cook and daughter, Wilma Heath. He is survived by two daughters, Laverne Buss of Memphis, TN and Donna Spry (Danny) of Collierville, TN; four grandchildren, Regan Heath, Jr. (Angela) of Enloe, TX, Dan Spry (Rebekah) of Southaven, MS, Susan Strauser (Chad) of Munford, TN and Jason Spry (Chelsea East) of Collierville, TN; four great-grandchildren, Cara Spry, Cohen Strauser, and Savanna and Tara Heath; brother, Larry Cook (Edna) and sister, Gladys Douglass. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2012 at Forest Hill Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Alzheimer''s Research Foundation.
