Ernest Lewis Norsworthy, Sr., passed away at his home in Bartlett, TN on January 25, 2019.  Mr. Norsworthy was a United States Army Veteran, and was retired from the United States Postal Service.  He was a longtime member of Ellendale Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary C. Norsworthy of Courtland, MS; his parents, Horace Lamar and Mattie Pearl Norsworthy; one brother and three sisters.  Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Margaret W. Norsworthy of Bartlett; his sons, Ernie Norsworthy (Kathy) of Choctaw, OK, and Mel Norsworthy of Memphis, TN; two stepdaughters, Beverly Shackelford (Larry) of Atoka, TN, and Julie Lawson (Jimmy) of Bartlett, TN; and one stepson, Bill Owens (Leasa) of Memphis, TN.  He has been blessed with nine grandsons, four granddaughters, five great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters.  His infectious, sweet smile will be missed.  Visitation with his family will be on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 10:30-11:30 a.m., with his service following at 11:30 a.m. at Ellendale Baptist Church 3861 Broadway Bartlett, TN, with military honors rendered at the church.  Services in care of Forest Hill Funeral Home, East 901-382-1000
