Mr. Essix Wilkins, beloved husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and businessman, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026.
Born October 14, 1950, in Tate County, Mississippi, to the late Harry and Eliza Wilkins, Essix was a man of excellence, leadership, and dedication. A graduate of Hernando Central High School, he was a standout athlete and later became a highly respected Paint and Autobody Restoration Specialist.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Wilkins; his children, Ashley Bradshaw, Erik Bogard (Mina), LaTrice Ryan (Derek), and Edrick Hardy Sr. (Kathline); his siblings; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Essix Wilkins will be remembered for his strength, generosity, and the lasting impact he made on his family and community.
