Esther Gilliam, 79, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on September 25, 2018 in Memphis, TN.  She was a member of Chambers Chapel United Methodist Church and was a resident of Lakeland, TN.  She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Wylie and her son, Thomas David.  She leaves behind two loving daughters, Denise Stewart (Dewayne) of Lakeland and Beth McAnulty (Richard) of Bolivar, three grandchildren, Karen McCommon (Ryan), Kyle Moody, and Bradley Moody.  Mrs. Gilliam was also blessed with two great-grandchildren.  She leaves two sisters as well, Jean Yarbro Fleming of Lakeland, TN and  Sue Yarbro Roe, of Atlanta, GA.  Visitation with her family will be on Thursday, September 27, 2018, 5:00-8:00 p.m., with her funeral service on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East  382-1000
