Ethel Compton Miller, 97, of Marianna, Arkansas, formerly of Memphis, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 29 at Forest Hill South with visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mrs. Miller is retired from Don Ross Company. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Carlos Miller; her parents, James A. and Clemmie Compton and step-mother, Minnie Compton; 4 sisters, Opal White, Flossie Logon, Parlee Anthony and Valley Clark; and brothers, Henry Compton and Billy Jean Compton. She leaves two brothers, Woodrow Compton (Jeanette) of New Mexico and Jack Compton of New Albany, MS; her niece and caretaker, Joyce Barnes (Norman) of Marianna, AR; and also several nieces and nephews.
