Ethel Lee Pointer was born in Natchez, Mississippi on November 13, 1926 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 3, 2016 at the age of 89 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Pointer; and by two sons, Charles Marrion and Ronald Pointer. Ethel leaves behind two sons, Vernon Pointer and Karl Pointer; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Catherine Lucas and Ardavia Reed; and by one brother, Ervin Reed. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 10 am-12 pm with a graveside service to follow at 12:00 pm, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home, Midtown, 1661 S. Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis, TN 38106.
