Etta Garner Humes, 74, of Southaven, MS died Sunday, November 3, 2013. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Southaven. Mrs. Humes was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Garner and Gordon Humes. She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Craven (Scott); sons, Roger Allen Garner (Donna) and Jeremy Clay Garner (Kathryn); grandchildren, Hunter Garner, William Kirby, Michael, Tommy and Allen Garner; great-grandchildren, Dalton Garner, Brodie and Brayden Kirby, Graham Garner and Ty Gunnels. Mrs. Humes is also survived by her sisters, Inez Fraiser, Wonnie Bowling and Tammy Simmons; brothers Dub Keith, Gene Keith, and Tommy Keith. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Sanders and brothers Rufus and Buck Keith. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with interment to follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
