Eugene Laverne Greenwood, 89, of Sarah, MS, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Ruth Greenwood; one step daughter, Angela Michelle Herring (Ken); two step sons, Ronnie Bradley (Sandy) and Grover Charles Bradley; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He retired as a production worker for American Can Company. He served his country as a Seaman in WWII. Visitation will be 1-2 pm, Tuesday, January 29, 2013, with funeral service at 2 pm, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home-Midtown where he will be honored by a unit of the U.S. Navy Honor Guard.
