Eugene McKelvey, 91, of Cordova, TN passed away on October 2,2025.

Mr. McKelvey was born In Corinth, MS to, Thomas Franklin and Candis Nora Walker McKelvey.
He was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church and retired from Kenrich Millwork. His hobbies were making things out of wood and working word search puzzles. He loved basketball and was a devout fan of the Memphis Tigers and Memphis Grizzlies.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and mother of his children, Mae McKelvey, his second wife, Frankie Sue McKelvey, his son, Douglas McKelvey, six siblings:  Virginia Davis, Maybell Gates, Roy McKelvey, Doyle McKelvey, Cleveland McKelvey, and Charles McKelvey.

Eugene leaves his daughter, Sandra Benjamin (Steve) Of Bartlett, TN; three grandchildren, Stacy Dodson, (Dustin), Lori Sadler (Josh), Marisa Brown (Steven), ten great-grandchildren, Isaac Dodson (Isabelle), Aaron Dodson, Eva Rose Dodson, Elizabeth Dodson; Ethan Brown (Carly), Madison Murphy, (Caidan), Kennedy Brown, Nicholas Brown, Kaitlyn Sadler and Abigail Sadler.

Funeral services for Eugene will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home - East Chapel on Saturday, October 11, 2025 beginning at 2:00 PM. Public visitation will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial at Forest Hill - East cemetery will follow immediately after services.
