Eugene C. Stone, 87, of Bartlett, TN died May 31, 2012 at Methodist North Hospital. He was a World War II Veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a retired truck driver. He leaves two sons, Danny Stone of Arlington and John Stone of Millington; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Stone; a son, Steve Stone; two daughters, Vickie and Peggie Stone; and one grandson, Brian Stone. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Lester Stone, Thomas Stone and John Stone; and his sister, Geraldine Cook. Visitation will be held at Curry Funeral Home in Ridgely, TN, on June 4th at 1:00 p.m., with service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
