Eugenia (Genie) Hudson 81 of Batesville, MS passed away after a short stay in Oxford, MS Hospital on Thursday December 11, 2025 @ 4:58pm natural causes.

Genie was formerly a CNA in Hospital & Bus Assistant for Mississippi County School System. She Loved Her Family. She & her husband Loved Bowling. She loved reading, game shows & soap operas.

She was predeceased in death by her husband Ronald E. Hudson, his parents Donald & Bernice Hudson & Genie's Parents (Mom) Merline Cox Holley, (Dad) Eugene Douglas & (Stepmom) Elsie Douglas & her (Sister) Shirlene Douglas Flowers.

Genie Leaves behind her Children: Daughters Rhonda (Lee) Smith, Stephanie (Heath) Dyer & Son Doug Benson. Grandchildren:  Kenny & Ronny Bird & Garrison & Brady Dyer. Her cousins:  Kay, Jack, Denise, Chris & Eddie along with their families, also her brother-in-law & sister-in-Law,  Bob & Shirley Hudson & their Families.

Genie's favorite Scripture is:
Proverbs 31:28 Her children rise up & call her blessed; her husband also & he praises her.
