Eula Ales Burt, 86, of Ashland, KY, formerly of Arlington, TN, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born in Panola County, Mississippi on December 9, 1926 to the late Stanley and Viola Epps Ales. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Oliver Burt. Eula was a homemaker and was of the Presbyterian faith. She is survived by daughters, Betty Ball (Douglas) of Atoka, TN and Pam Hilgendorf (Tom) of Ashland, KY; a sister Stella Dees of Eudora, MS; grandchildren Tammy Keathley of Arlington, TN, Haley Frazier of Atoka, TN, Meagan Pinkston of Ashland, KY and Madison Hilgendorf of Harold, KY; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133, with Mike Mays, officiating. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
