EULA CLARICE "Clara" ROBERTS GARDNER, 90, of Memphis, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was preceded by her husband Eugene R. Gardner and daughter Gloria G. Gardner. She leaves one daughter, Judi Gardner (Rob) Clement, her grandchildren, Neyle'' Clement Coppedge, Rev. Justin and Elizabeth Clement and three great-grandchildren, John Huss Clement, Gardner Clement and Elizabeth Jane Clement. Clara is survived by siblings Barbara Jean Rorie of Monroe, NC, Lee Carter of Saulsbury, TN, Nell Harwell of Eads, TN and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. The family will receive friends for visitation at Forest Hill Funeral Home on Kirby Whitten Rd. on Tuesday, November 12 from 12-2 p.m. with services following. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Clara was known for her love of the Lord, giving spirit along with volunteer service to her church family where she was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and Pinklady for St. Francis Hospital Bartlett.
