Eva Geraldine Carr Broyles was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on March 23, 1932, to Ura Vance Carr, Sr. and Ila Doris Carr who proceeded her in death. Mrs. Broyles was a member of the Honor Society of Southside High School, Memphis, TN. She was a member of the Southaven 1st Methodist Church. She began teaching Sunday school when she was in grammar school and continued until her health no longer allowed her to teach. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Howard Broyles, of Walls, Mississippi. She is proceeded in death by a brother, Ura Vance Carr, Jr; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Webb. She is survived by one daughter, Elisa Webb (John); one son Bryon Broyles (Stephanie); two brothers Ben H. Carr (Pat) and Harvey G. Carr (Cindy); one sister Sherry Bryant (Bill); six grandchildren, Rachel Webb, Daniel Webb, Sarah Webb, Nelson Broyles, Miranda Broyles and Joel Webb; one great granddaughter, Emmaline Webb. The Family would like to give a special Thanks to the McGarity Families of Pine Bluff, AR for their loving kindness to the Carr family over the years. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 12-2 with funeral services to immediately follow at 2:00 pm, all at the Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park East.
