Southaven - EVELYN INEZ DOWDY, 88, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Hermitage Gardens Assisted Living. Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at Trinity Baptist Church of Southaven; visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mrs. Dowdy was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Bill Dowdy and five older brothers. She leaves her sons, Michael Dowdy of Southaven and Ricky Dowdy (Penny) of Horn Lake, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
