Evelyn L. Wells, 87, of Covington, TN, passed away on February 23, 2016. She retired from Sears and was a member of First Baptist Church in Covington, TN. Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. "Tommy" Wells; her son, Tommy Michael "Mike" Wells; parents, Virgil and Lilly Shelley; brother, Boyce C. "Bubba" Shelley; two sisters, Willie Mae "Jo" Davis, Virginia "Ginny" Bausmith; and son in law, James Beard. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Beard; two granddaughters and their husbands, Melinda Ingram and Matt, Michelle Larson and Tracy; and six great grandchildren. Funeral Services and burial will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East, in Memphis, TN with Pastor Chuck Williams officiating.
