Everett P. Garrett, 87, of Memphis, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at LifePointe Village in Southaven, MS. Mr. Garrett was a WWII Army Veteran and a truck driver. He was a member of Longstreet United Methodist Church. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Audra F. Garrett; daughter, Judy Frye (Mike); two grandsons: Sean Frye (Wendy) and Cory Frye (Tiffany); two great-grandchildren: Tyler and Evan Frye; one sister, Lois Abney (Bill); two brothers: Cecil Garrett (Lorraine) and Garland Garrett (Ann); also numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 25 at Forest Hill South with visitation starting at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
