Ewell Ervin McKee, 69, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on June 25, 2023.

Ewell was the perfect example of how to be a man, husband and father. Ewell would help anyone in need, and go out of his way to do so. He frequented Neil's Bar just to talk and spend time with the older gentleman. He loved his family dearly, especially his grand kids. The Arkansas native also loved Star Trek, Sci-Fi, to read, fish, bowl, and drink strong black coffee. Ewell, the jokester, was truly a jack of all trades, also known as a shade tree mechanic. There is absolutely nothing that he could not fix. He would fix on cars, plumbing, do electrical work and was the "ceiling fan aficionado" just to name a few. Not only was he a handy man, he was a very generous and loving man. The love that he showed and gave to others has defiantly been reciprocated.

Ewell was preceded in death by his parents, Ewell and Emogene McKee; one sister, Charlotte Carter; and one brother, Johnny McKee.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra McKee; one daughter, Casey (Josh) Spann; three sons, William Ewell McKee, Charlie David (Francesca) McKee, and Nick Ryan (Andrea) McKee; two brothers, Donny McKee and James (Liz) McKee; three grandchildren, McKenzie (Cole) Beshears, Analyce Spann and Noah McKee; as well as two uncles, Algie (Teresa) Bettis and Arthur (Carolyn) Bettis.
