Fannie Mae Tate Earle, daughter of the late Ollie and Vera Harris Tate, was born on March 12,1927 in Covington, Tennessee. She was blessed with one sibling, Willie Joe Tate, who preceded her in death. God called her home to rest on April 15, 2019 at Methodist North Hospital. On October 31, 1944, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late George Earle. She said that she missed having other brothers and sisters so she prayed that God would bless her with "a whole lot of children". Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it (Psalm 127). To them were born eleven children, four daughters and seven sons. Their daughter, Ellen, preceded them in death.

She obeyed the gospel and was baptized on October 9, 1965 at Chelsea Avenue Church of Christ under the leadership of Brother James Braddock. In her journey through life she fellowshipped at other local congregations until failing health lead her to move from her home in Rosemark, Tennessee to live with her youngest daughter, Portia. She then placed her membership at Coleman Avenue where she remained until her death. She showed her faith in Christ by demonstrating love to all who came her way (Mark 12:30-31). She worked several jobs as domestic worker, cook, and childcare assistant. However she was most proud of her work as a developmental program trainer at the Arlington Developmental Center (ADC) where she retired after over 21 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Julia (Landers) Williamson, Jacquelyn (Richard) Shelby, Portia Baker; her sons, Charles (Barbara) Earle, George Earle Jr., Billy (Vermetria) Earle, David Earle, Wynn (Connie) Earle Sr., Michael (Rebecca) Earle Sr. and SGM (R) Timothy (Amy) Earle. She also leaves 30 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren. She will also be remembered by sister-in-laws, Earnestine Earl Hunt and Bernice Tate and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
