Faye Dodds Lewis went to be with the Lord Friday, April 24, 2020 at Kings Daughter and Sons Nursing Home. Faye was a member of Central Baptist Church. Faye was born in Potts Camp MS, April 26, 1928, to Charles Thomas Dodds and Effie Dodds.

Faye married J W Lewis and they had one daughter, Charlotte who passed away with cancer at a young age.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Louise Lambert and Nadine Lehman, and two brothers, Chuck Dodds and Joe Dodds. She is survived by two brothers, Dempsey Dodds, wife Joyce, and Billy Dodds, wife Misook.

Faye was involved in a terrible automobile accident when she was 26 years of age suffering severe injuries. In spite of all her injuries, she was able to live a good life. She lived in Chicago for several years, but returned to Memphis after the death of her husband and lived with her mother.

She will be buries at Forest Hill Midtown cemetery on Tuesday April 28, 2020 beside her father and mother.
