Obituary

Ferrell Finch White passed away March 1, 2018 at his home in Cordova.
Ferrell was the only son of Archie and Opal White. He grew up in Greenfield, TN, where he went to school, farmed, and worked at a car parts store.
He joined the Air Force in 1953 and worked as an aircraft mechanic. He was honorably discharged in 1956 and learned the heating and air conditioning trade. He worked in HVAC until he retired from Gibson Mechanical in 2001. He was a long time member of the Steamfitters Local 614 Union.
Ferrell developed a love of cars from his father. When he wasn't working in HVAC, he would ride with his best friend and brother-in-law, James Neill, to find cars to be repaired and sold. He also loved shining up his 1972 red Ford Cougar convertible and taking it to car shows.
Ferrell was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Opal White. He was also preceded in death by his wife Dorothy "Dot" White and only son, Paul White. He leaves his sisters, Freida Neill and Charlotte Williamson, and his grandsons, Paul White, Jr. and Justin White.
Funeral Services will be held at Forrest Hill Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Road, Bartlett, TN, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Greenfield, TN. There will be no graveside service.
