Florence Elizabeth Howard, 94, of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2014 after a short illness. She was a retired homemaker. Mrs. Howard is survived by two daughters, Janie Schultz of Bartlett, TN, Elaine Harris of MS; son, Timothy Howard of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Carrie Escue; brother, C.E. Hargett, Jr.; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Lee Howard; son, Gene Griffin; and daughters, Joan Griggs and Kay Jeffery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 24 and service at 2 p.m. Friday, April 25 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
