Florence J. Meek, 85, of Hernando, MS formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013. She was a homemaker and longtime member of Capelville United Methodist Church. She later moved to Hernando and became a member of Hernando United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Ed" Meek, Jr. and is survived by her son, Greg (Cathy) Meek; one granddaughter, Melissa (Ross) Thomas and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2013 with services to follow at 10 a.m., at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
