Florence Brooks Spencer, 77, devoted wife and loving mother, went to the celestial shore April 21, 2012. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Florence Elizabeth Spencer and grandsons, Spenser Lamar Norwood and Isaac Joshua Logue. She leaves her husband, Benjamin Gordon Spencer; and eight children; six siblings; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25. and Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following.
