Flossie Coy, 97, passed away on May 15, 2017. She was originally from Mt. Ida, AR and spent most of her adult life in Memphis. Mrs. Coy is the mother of two sons: Dr. John Coy and Jerry Coy, Lt. Col. Air Force Retired. She is survived by: Jerry Coy, wife, Denise Coy of Bellevue, WA and daughter-in-law, Joy Coy of Elizabethtown, KY; niece, Gloria Murphree of Mt. Ida, AR; grandchildren: Kathleen Porter, Andrew Coy, both of San Diego, CA, Timothy Coy, Christopher Coy, both of Phoenix, AZ, Benjamin Coy of Las Vegas, NV; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Coy was a catalogue phone operator at Sears for 37 years. She was beloved by family, coworkers and customers alike. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 22 at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
