Flossie Evelyn Self, of Memphis, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on October 29, 2024. She was born on December 29,1933, in Sledge, Mississippi.

Flossie was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family and always enjoyed spending time with them. She was always there when anyone needed her. She was a member of Wells Station Baptist Church where she served faithfully for over 61 years. At the church she worked as the church secretary for 15 years and retired in 2000.

Flossie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, John Self; her parents Bud & Lillian White, of Lambert, Mississippi; and her sisters, Elsie Wiggs of Marks, Mississippi , Oma Horton of Southaven, Mississippi and Mary Margaret White of Lambert, Mississippi; brothers, William White of Lambert, Mississippi, Tommy White of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Elbert White of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Jimmy White of Olive Branch, Mississippi  and Robert White of Byhalia, Mississippi.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Donna Moses (Ronald) of Memphis, Tennessee; one son, Steven Self (Libby) of Crestwood, Kentucky; two sisters, Joyce Morehead of Southaven, Mississippi, Peggy Eldred of Southaven, Mississippi; two brothers, Kenneth White of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Larry White of Southaven, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Anthony Moses, Allison Moses, and John Thomas Self.

Flossie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts.
