Obituary

Floyd Wooley, 72, passed away February 8, 2012 at his daughter's home in Springfield, OH after a long struggle with cancer. He was born January 6, 1940 in Memphis to Joe and Rosa (Warren) Wooley, both deceased. Floyd married Bertha (Lashlee) on March 5, 1962 in Memphis. He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict and was retired from Nikki Warehouse where he was manager of 2 hazardous waste facilities. He asked Christ into his heart in 1975 and was a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church. Floyd was a fan of Clint Eastwood movies and in younger days, enjoyed rabbit hunting with his dogs. Floyd leaves behind his wife Bertha, daughter Debbie (Mrs. Scott) Heineman, grandchildren Malinda Crichton, Jeremy Crichton, Amanda Crichton, and a sister Dottie (Mrs. Bill) Graham. The graveside services will be 10 a.m. on Monday, February 13 at Forest Hill East with visitation one hour before the service. Brian Davis, a long time family friend, will deliver the eulogy.
