Frances Jenette Cook, 82, of Byhalia, Mississippi passed away on August 24,
2023. Mrs. Cook was a longtime member of Wells Station Baptist Church
where she actively served in the children's ministry. Most recently, she
was a member of Barton First Baptist Church. She graduated from Christian
Brothers University with a master's degree in accounting. She retired from
the State of Tennessee after serving several years as a Certified Public
Accountant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Doris Lee Self;
her siblings: Lavada Self Martin (sister), John Self Jr. (brother), and Curtis
Self (brother); and her great-grandson, Caleb Maley.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband, Gerald Cook; her daughter, Gina Maley
(Tom) of Byhalia, MS and her son, Randy Cook (Billie) of Bartlett, TN. She
also leaves behind four grandchildren, John (Jennifer) Maley, Christopher
(Jennifer) Maley, Paul (Victoria) Maley, and Andrew (Mary Love) Cook; also
seven great-grandchildren, Collin, Addison, Katelyn, Edward, Connor, Samuel,
and Simon.
