Frances Imogene Dudley, a beacon of love and compassion throughout her 89 years of life, peacefully departed this world on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, surrounded by her grandchildren. Born and raised in Etowah, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Daisy Knuckles and spent most of her life in the Memphis area.

She worked at Hunter Fan and, after retiring, dedicated herself to being the most loving and nurturing nanny to many. She took pleasure in gardening, cooking, and fiercely supporting her Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Cowboys. Her love, respect, and guidance were unconditional, making everyone feel like they were part of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Dudley; daughter, Jamie Neely (Jessie); son, Richard Berretta (Genia); brothers Clyde, Delmer, Denver, and Donald; and sisters Margaret, Martha, and Bernice.

Frances' memory will be remembered and cherished by her son, Tony Berretta; grandchildren, Cartrel (Danielle), Robin (Candace), Chris, Jeremy, Tyler (Marissa), Alex ( Alaina), Shelby, and Spencer (Katie); and great grandchildren, Noah, Jaxon, Julian, Quinn, Coby, Corbin, Maverick, and Charleigh.
