Frances I. Brown, age 80, of Southaven, MS, resigned this life in calm and humble hope of heaven with much grace at her home on 12/15/2015. She was preceded in death by her son Steve Hobbs, her parents Alton and Virginia Brown of Bett in Tate County, Ms. She is survived by her sons, Quince Hobbs, Jr. (Debbie), Geoffrey Grey Perkins, Glenn Forsythe and a daughter Kimberly Pugh of Round Rock, Tx. She leaves 6 grandchildren, Natalie (Brad) Harper of La,; Kristi, (Christopher) Jamison., Christopher Stites, Sarah Pugh, and Jessica Pugh of Tx,; Jonathan D. Peters (Perkins), and Nichole Dasilva of Sc. In addition, she leaves two step grandchildren Dustin T. Rutledge and Kacy Rutledge. She also leaves 5 great grandchildren, Cameron, Peyton and Morgan Harper, Claire Jamison, Aaliyah Stites, Dalton Rutledge and Thomas Rutledge. Lastly, she leaves one brother Ralph (Mary) Brown of Bett, Ms.; two sisters Lucille Wilson of Bauxite, Ar, and Sandra (Milburn) Moore of Huntsville, Al, and many nieces and nephews. Her beautiful spirit leaves a record for integrity and honesty of character, for steadfastness in the faithful service of her family as a mother, grand and great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend and for the constancy in attachment for all of those she loved. Peace with much grace and love to her memory forever.

Visitation will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home (Whitten Road), on Saturday, 12/19/2015, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., and funeral service to immediately follow with interment afterwards. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Alzheimers Association.
