IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frances Wanda
Lee Snuffin
October 14, 1933 – January 31, 2026
Frances Wanda Lee Snuffin, 92, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026. Born in Dexter, Missouri to Ervin and Lula Lane, Wanda lived a life of faith and love. A full-time homemaker, she was strongly devoted to her family and known for her hospitality. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking, and baking. Her kitchen was always open to everyone.
Wanda was also a caregiver. She spent many tireless hours providing care and comfort to both family members and friends during lengthy illnesses leading to their final days. Her faith was her foundation and she shared it with everyone. The prayers and words of encouragement that she offered to others cannot be surpassed.
Preceding her in death was the love of her life, Louis Snuffin, and together they built a beautiful family over sixty-seven years of marriage. She is survived by two sons and two daughters - Gary (Lequita) Snuffin of Oakland, Tennessee; Cheryl (Ed) Hughes of Collierville, Tennessee; Debbie (Greg) Nowlin of Jacksonville, Florida; and Keith (Paula) Snuffin of Branson, Missouri. She was also blessed with nine amazing grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and a soon to be born great-great granddaughter.
Wanda's kindness, encouragement, and generosity are a reflection of the love she received from her Savior, Jesus Christ. We find comfort in knowing that she is in His presence, her faith has become sight, and she has heard Him say "Well Done".
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Wanda's life on Thursday, February 5, at Forest Hill Funeral Home - East, 2440 Whitten Rd. Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 followed by a memorial service at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor or memory to Senior Living Ministries at SomerOak Senior Living.
