Frances Lee Shockley

Frances Lee Shockley, 89, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016. The widow of Jim Shockley, she is survived by one son, David Rushing (Cecila); six daughters, Linda Herring, Fredna Owens, June Freeman (Mike), Virginia Laminack (Chuck), Donnah Turner (Jerry), Jeannie Guiseppe (Bob); two step-daughters, Barbara Shockley and Margaret Smith; three sisters, Naomi Curtis, Edna Lane, Patsy Miller; three brothers, Kenneth Miller, Billy Miller, and Bobby Miller; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Robert Rushing and one stepson, Wayne Shockley. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. Family and friends will gather to share memories 12-2 pm, Tuesday, June 7, followed by services at 2 pm., both at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park-Midtown.
