Frances Shapard Simpson Wright, 94, passed Sunday, January 4, 2015. The widow of Ernest Simpson, Sr. and Arthur "Dutch" Wright, she is survived by her children, Shirley McKinney (George), Ernest "Bubba" Simpson, Jr. (Gloria), Lynn Dickerson, Jimmy Simpson (Elaine); nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents John and Geneva Shapard and two sisters, Julia Gaither and Mary Robinson. The family will receive friends for visitation at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park - Midtown 12-2 pm, Wednesday January 7, 2015 followed by services at 2 pm.
