Frances S. McGarah, 87, born in Waterford MS, of Memphis, passed away on June 20, 2015 with her family at her side. She retired from Harrah''s Entertainment. Mrs. McGarah is survived by three children, Butch Russom, Mary McGarah Nolen, Lisa McGarah Allen; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a close friend, Jackie Weaver. She was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Jackson McGarah; and daughter, Frances Rose McGarah. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Monday, June 22 until service begins at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens. The family request memorials be sent to the Humane Society.
