Frances Waring Walker, 92, a loving grandmother, "MaMaw", mother, sister and wife was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Desoto Health Care. She worked at the Piccadilly Cafeteria 35 years. Mrs. Walker will be remembered for her sweet and peaceful nature. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Chuck Walker; her son, James Ralph Walker; her parents, Rosa Lena and James Olive Robinson and her sister, Muriel Robinson. She is survived by her son, Reggie (Gale) Walker; her grandchildren, Francie (Tony) Smith, Reg (Julie) Walker, and Natalie (Walter) Gatlin; nine great-grandchildren and sisters, Alice Bryant of Wynne, AR and Marion Dye of Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2013 with services to follow at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. The family requests memorials be sent to the Diabetes Association .
