Francis V. "Frank" Buck was born October 18, 1922 in Emporia, Kansas. He is survived by his wife, Virginia who he married September 1, 1950, and their 3 children: Ron (Marsha) Jean, Lori Washam (Mike). He leaves behind 5 grandchildren: Brian (Carmen) Washam, Molly (Adam) Washam, Vernon Nicholson, Chasity (Adam) Stovall, and Ryan (Angela) Buck. He also leaves 3 great granddaughters: Eden, Avery, and Faith Stovall, many nieces and nephews, and sisters.

Frank proudly served 20 years in the U.S. Navy with broken service after joining right out of high school. He served during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.

He will be greatly  missed by all who knew him. As his pastor said, "He was a dear man."

Funeral Services will be held by Forest Hill Funeral Home - East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN 38133, on Friday, 08/27/2021 at 10:00 AM with interment at Forest Hill - East Cemetery immediately after services.
