Franklin P. Jones, 91, of Cordova, Tennessee passed away on July 12, 2023.

Franklin was a graduate of Millington High School in 1952. Shortly after, he married the love of his life, Marian, on Valentine's Day in 1953. Four beautiful children were born of this union. The historian, Golden Age of Hollywood Movie enthusiast, loved going to the library, doing research, mostly on history of course. He was "The" Trivial Pursuit Aficionado. Franklin was a faithful and devoted member of Bellevue Baptist Church where he frequently was a volunteer in the Bellevue Recreation Center. He not only was a 5th grade Sunday School Teacher, he drove the church bus, served as Deacon as well as a Gideon. Franklin was also a body builder/weight lifter.

Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Mary Jones; one son, Wade Jones; and one brother, Neil Jones.

Franklin is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marian Jones; two daughters, Lori (Steve) Williams and Janet Jones; one son, Russ (Johanna) Jones; six grandchildren, Candace (Jim) Echols, Landon (Nicole) Williams, Steppie (Reid) Karr, Tristin Walker, Courtney Taylor, and Macy Carolina (Laurentiu) Pirvu; as well as 15 great grandchildren, Bo, Juliet, Genevieve, Evienne, Daisy, Vivienne, Everett, Nolyn, Ellie, Livia, Kip, Kannon, Jameson, Sutton, and Elias.
