Franklin Leon Pittman was born April 9, 1936 in Wynne, Arkansas and passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2014 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 78. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Hope Presbyterian Church. Frank worked at National Can, Stroh''s Brewery, and retired from Fleischmann''s Yeast in 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Agnes Pittman, his sister Faye Shaw, and brother JB Pittman. Frank leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Minnie May Pittman, two daughters, Karen Rush and Rhonda Kerley (Rob), as well as three grandchildren, Kayla Rush, Zach Kerley, and Madison Kerley. He also leaves three brothers, Kenneth Pittman (Marlene) of Albany, GA, Jimmy Pittman of Bloomsdale, MO, and Mike Pittman (Tammy) of Manassas, VA. Visitation will be 12 noon Tuesday, September 30 with services following at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
