Freeman O. McKnight, 92, of Southaven, MS went to be with the Lord Saturday July 23, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Lottie McKnight; parents, Oscar and Sallie McKnight; and 2 sisters, Lois Gambrel and Mable Sandlin. He is survived by his son, Ron McKnight; daughter, Pat McKnight; grandson, Dylan McKnight(Ann); great-grandchildren, Ella and Cole; sister, Alice Morrison; brother, Howard McKnight; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. McKnight served our country in the US Army during WWII. He is retired from the VA Hospital of Memphis. He was a member of Carriage Hills Baptist Church in Southaven. A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm on Wednesday July 27, 2015 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Rd.
